It is unknown what the Meheri are. Some say they are a subspecies of Demon, whilst others say that they are a class of their own. What is known is that the Meheri are one of the oldest races around. The High Belra'th was the first Meheri Neh'dren. He brought order to the chaotic tribes and united them. His name is held most sacred to the Meheri. There are three main tribes of Meheri; The Eiridikh, The Geshtavin, and the Vohouro. Others are thought to exist but had never been proven until recently.

In combat, honour is valued over everything unless their opponents make it clear that honour is out. Fights are always one on one and the Meheri can use their own style called Sentsa Rengukhen, the forms of which are myriad and varied. All Meheri go through the basic warrior tests once they hit puberty, which remain a closely guarded secret. Higher warrior status' can be attained through harder tests, known as the Degrees of Warriorship. Only those who wish to become Warriors of the Damnation Realm, or the Neh'dren of the Damnation Realm, go through these harder tests.

The Meheri are strongly faithful to one another, sometimes to the point of completely shunning out outsiders. The Meheri believe that blood is life. A blood sacrifice is the highest form of sacrifice a Meheri can do to outsiders. Meheri blood has a unique property found in no other race thus far. Meheri also have no gender differences in their society or gender based terms (which can make translation a pain) and were throught to be a godless race, praying only to their ancestors. The reappearance of the Guardian of Souls changed that much to the astonishment of everyone.

The Meheri can manipulate their soul energy and use them as the means to cast magicks in the place of mana.
