You think you know Vampires? Well forget everything you know. All the following is false:

• Vampires don't have a reflection - they do have a reflection.
• Vampires fear sunlight - they can walk about in sunlight, just that their eyes are sensitive to any sort of light and prefer the night.
• Vampires sleep in coffins - beds are preferred by many modern Vampires.
• Vampires fear Holy Relics and can't tread Holy Ground - if the relic holder believes in its power, the faith is sensed by the Vampire and they go off to find a less resistant person to feed from.
• Vampires hate garlic - it's true that garlic thins the blood making it unappetising for the Vampire, but I know many who enjoy garlic as a food.

Vampires have unusually heightened senses, increased speed, and enhanced strength. Being the predators that Vampires are, any strong victim will be left alone. Many modern Vampires shun this hunter way, unless it's animal blood, preferring instead to feed of those willing to donate any amount of blood that is comfortable to the said donor. There are those who will pay to be a donor because the sensation of being fed upon is such an adrenaline rush for them.

If a Vampire neglects to feed they will go into a blood frenzy. This is a dangerous state, because the Vampire loses all rationality and finds the strongest blood to feed from. Trying to fend the frenzied Vampire off will only make them wilder, so it's advised to just let them feed till they regain their sanity.
