The Zodian are a peace thriving race that live somewhere, 4 billion light years from the Ring Nebula. The planets beautifully crafted cities are well known by many races though space and many come to marvel at the towering buildings and obelisks that stand hundreds of feet above the people of K'ah, the Zodian's planet. Most of the art, sculptor, buildings and weapons are based on a silver and blue basis. The buildings and weapons are silver based covered in aqua blue markings and symbols that, when the planet of K'ah is under attack, turn red to alert the soldiers. This rarely happens.
The Zodian are known for their wide veriety of beautiful garments and jewelery. Their stunning, ancient appeal makes them very admirable among other races for they show their love toward "The Old Way".
The people of K'ah are immortal in spirit only. When a Zodian dies their spirit is collected in the planets essence, which builds everything in the planet so things stay alive. Weeks, maybe months later, the spirit is reborn as a new person looking as close to their past lives form as possible. Of course, they do not remember their previous lives. The only reminder of their past lives is the magical instrument they obtain from their bloodline. This could range from a weapon to a healing tool to a gardening appliance.
The government is based primarily on three elders who decide the roles and placement of the bloodlines on K'ah. Elders choose when they want to die and before passing on to never be reborn again they choose a new bloodline to take their place. Newborns are placed into categories at birth, based on their actions in their previous life. The bloodline doesn't factor. Say your last name was Harai and you lived a swell life as a healer, you might be a warrior in your next life. The categories of placement are simple. You're either an Elder, Counsel, Warrior, Healer, or Commoner (farmer, lawyer, etc.)
It's said that a few hundred years ago the Zodian race was wiped out by the Rioul, a race who backstabbed them. It took several hundred years, but the race rebuilt itself from the planets essence. It wasn't until recently that the planet was fully functional again.
